Category sidebox issue

Hi,

I wish to be able to not display a subcategory or category in the sidebox if there are no products to show.

Can this be done?

admin > config > layout settings > Categories with 0 Products Status

Or why create a category or sub-cat that has no products?

You can also create these and click the Green box next to them to toggle them to the "off" status

Hi Thanks, but, that admin setting had to do with displaying the counts. I want to totally eliminate the subcat or cat from the category list.

Why? my wholesaler updates their inventory several times a day. I have automated the update process with advanced easypopulate which seems to require the categories to exist before a new product can be imported. So I have created an entire category/subcategory list that covers my supplier's line.

Manually turning on and off the cats is a pain. I have over 4000 cats/subcats.

If it hasn't been built into Zen Cart, then the display count setting will be a good lead as to where I can go to change the code.
