NavBar + 2 Search Bars?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me how to place a gray navigation bar below my header. This will be the location of my Search button, and Login/Logoff buttons. I don't want the product categories within this bar at all.

Also, when I turn on the search_header.php from the layout boxes controller, 2 search bars come up. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I've checked for duplicate entries of the search bar at tpl_header.php but there wasn't any.

I think I've changed the content of my php files around so much that I cannot figure out what code does what. So, if there are codes that I should have to make the above requests work, please share.

This is all contained in the order of appearance in your tpl_hrader.php file....

Do not know what you have altered to this point??? There is also a module with this file pre edited to do this in the downloads section
