I know this has been asked in a handful of threads, but I am still unclear:

1) How do I override the full layout on the homepage ONLY while leaving the rest of the site the same? (I'm on 1.3.7)

I've got the override system working great. I can modify the site exactly as needed. I have the override for the css on the homepage (index_home.css), and that is working.

But... is there an equivalent to the tpl_main_page.php that is for the homepage only? If not, is there a way to make it such? I need somewhere to put the divs and the html to call that css file to make the layout work properly.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you!

This appears to have solved my problem. Woohoo!

Ok. I'm back. After much customization, the homepage looks exactly how I want. I have an index folder inside my custom template and the css is being called from the css folder (index_home.css).

All good. However... when I go into the categories/subs/products, they have the same look as the homepage.

The EZpages I setup, DO NOT look the same. They are doing exactly what I want them to do. They take the layout and css from the template/common in my template folder.

I want the look from the EZpages on all the other pages. How can I do that?

Sounds like a good plan (site is still under construction, of course).

The DESIGNS link takes you to the category page. The other links are all EZpages. Note: If I copy my index_home.css file contents into the main stylesheet, the DESIGNS page would look identical to the homepage. Hopefully that makes sense...

I just created a folder called 'product_info' and added the template I wanted for product info pages to that folder.

Thank you. Yes, I have done that as well (as a test) and it works well. The trouble I'm running into is on the main category page as they are all 'index' pages.
