Categories invisible in admin section

Hello,

I have a strange problem. I just set up a new install of Zencart 1.3.7. I can add categories, they appear in the store and in the database, but they are not shown in the admin section.

Any clue as to what might be happening to me?

What this means is I can't edit categories, add products, etc.

Check that your database tables have values in them, via phpMyAdmin:
categories
categories_description

Make sure that for each record in categories table you have a matching record in categories_description based on the categories_id ...

Also check the two configure.php files:
/includes/configure.php
/admin/includes/configure.php

and make sure they are using the same server, database, etc.
