hmmm not sure about moving to VPS etc...
although with VPS, is PCI compliance easier to get than with shared hosting?

The restrictions imposed on providers to achieve PCI compliance make it just about impossible to offer a PCI compliant shared hosting environment. Dedicated servers would be the only way to ensure 100% PCI Compliance and even then would only apply if the whole hosting company itself was PCI Compliant.

You never did Post the information from the log file that would have been generated as a result of the error in you cache folder.
