Google Base Feeder Support Thread [OLD]

Done another install of the latest version and installed the SQL patches etc.

It's creating the product feed fine but when it comes to uploading I get this:

Is the address not uploads.google.com?

I use the same username and password at base.google.com and it logs in fine so not sure where to go from here?

That is your mistake. Read the readme.txt.

I'm in the UK and have been having problems with getting my items to show on google product search, they are in google base fine, but not showing when i do a search in google products. I found this information on a forum:

that you want to submit your items to google base uk. there's this re-

to base.google.uk (not from the my accounts link, that'll send you

I was just wondering if i need to be careful when doing the bulk upload. I'm a bit confused since when I log into http://base.google.co.uk/ it shows the same settings as http://base.google.com. ftp account looks the same etc..

I'd be interested to hear other people opinions on this. I have seen a few other emails from people in the UK that seem to be having problems with this as well.

That is your mistake. Read the readme.txt.

Sorry - i've now setup my Google FTP account and copied the same details into Zencart.

Getting the same error though.

I just upgraded and am excited about the weights being included in the feed, but they are not showing up. Anything I'm doing wrong. I did all the patches and uploaded all the files.

I will have to take a look at the code and see sometime later. What does it put in your feed file? Does it have the XML tags fr the weight and then just empty content? Perhaps post the XML from a single product.

Hi there,

I've been using this excellent module for a while and really appreciate your efforts on this.

After getting an email from Google about Irrelevant product types I installed 1.6.2.

Now my products are duplicated - two entries for most products, each with the same URL. There are a few products that only have one entry - but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to which products are duplicated.

I have the products linked, but I've configured Google Base Feeder to exclude the secondary categories.

I've tried all three setting for "Product Type" and always get the duplicated products.

Any ideas what's wrong?
