Google Base Feeder Support Thread [OLD]

You know, this is a real deal-breaker for this mod if it misses products.

If I could get a txt file to preview as in our old version I could edit it but this xml thing is also a real deal-breaker since you can't preview your feed.

EP....just not convinced the "advanced" high priced version is stable enough as the current one has had many problems with the froogle feed.

I'm also thinking upgrading to 1.3.8a is a bit of deal breaker if I can't use my current reliable methods of generating a product feed for Google Base.

just installed this contribution. when ever i click on tools-> google base feeder, i get the error message:

"The webpage cannot be found"

Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

Another question:

in the Google Base Feeder Configuration, what do i put for shipping options?

also, what do i put for Tax Region?

how do i configure these options?

What shipping method do you use to ship. UPS Ground, USPS or what. That is what goes there.

I would not put anything in there. Once you create and xml file and upload it to google when they click on the link it will take them to your site and if you have a tax Region set up if will do what you want it to do anyway, so don't worry about that right now.
