I'll answer my own question, you can easily open the .xml doc in excell for editing.
New Question:
I uploaded a feed and it has 27 product, but only 10 are shown as searchable or searchable soon. since I just did this 30mins ago, does Google just need time to process the feed? I don't have any errors, so I thought all 27 products should be searchable soon?
When I create my feed approx 600 items are not being added to the feed. I am getting no errors, also approx 200 are not imported on the google side but does not give me an error why they are not accepted. Can someone point me in the right direction I really need to get this working on a consistent basis.
Also, when I check by model number other companies who sell the product are being pulled up but I am not in the list anywhere.
I am using googlebase feeder and Sitewide Mark up. When I export my products to google base it uploads the cost of the product instead of the marked up price. Has anyone experienced this before?
Regarding my earlier post for people who wish to get products featured in more than one Currency in more than one country (copy below)
I've managed to find a way to do this now, but it would be great if somone could advise how I can change settings or code to make this automated.
What I do is go to the following - Configuration>Google Base Feeder Configuration - and then change the currency from GBP to USD. Then I go to Tools > Google Base Feeder and click on 'Create Product Field' then after it is created, right click on 'View' and save the XML file, and this file contains all prices in USD not GBP. I then go back to Configuration>Google Base Feeder Configuration and change the currency back to GBP so the automated process will not be affected for UK target audience in GBP.
I then rename the XML file to the name I have for USD currency targeting Unites States on Google Base website, and then manually upload the file. And it works.
It look like I'll have to do this every month (if I remember!), unless somone can advise on how to get this automated ?!?
I installed this great MOD before Christmas, and it works well. Also set up a Cron Job so that the feed is uploaded to Google base automatically.
This is my problem. Our website shows the prices in two currencies GBP Pounds £ and USD Dollars $. Our default is pounds, buty we also show the $ equivalent on every page. The Google Base Feeder creates a product feed with the prices in £, and this is uploaded auytomatically to Google base to a data feed Targeting the United Kingdom. What I want to do is create another feed with all the prices marked in USD, and upload it to another Google base data feed that has the target country set to the United States. If this could be created automatically and updated to Google Base like the GBP version, then great, but if not, does anyone know how to do this manually?
Thanks for your time.
