    Default Variable payment method help

    Hello everyone,

Im having a bit of problem working out how to get the correct shipping into my website.

Im selling various things, some are going to cost £10 to send, some only £3. i can get this sorted out fine, just by using the "per weight" costing function.

However, if the shopper wants to buy 2 items, it wont cost me £6 or £20 to send, and this may put them off ordering. Is there any way of making it so you can have 1 product at £3, two at £4, three at £5 etc etc.

some of my products, people will maybe buy 4 or 5 at a time, and thats £15 postage, where as most shops would put them in one jiffy bag and charge £5 or something.

    Thanks in advance
    Ian

You might try the table rate method: where you would set this probably as the total count of items:
    Shipping Table
The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items or count of the items. Example: 25:8.50,50:5.50,etc.. Up to 25 charge 8.50, from there to 50 charge 5.50, etc
And configure the table to reflect what you want the charges to be
