Images not Uploading

Hi

I am very confused as this worked before...

Images are not uploading in Admin. Either using IH2 or the normal product image upload. They are just not being uploaded to the server. Permission of images directory and all other necessary directories are 777. File space is Ok on server.

IH2 and SEO urls are installed but same problem exists even when removing these.

IH2 reports "Unable to upload default image file.". The image uploading in the product edit screen does not report any error, it just shows the "No Image" image when Previewing.

Does anyone have any idea why this would stop working?

I have a similar problem. When I go in Admin>>Catalog>>>Categories/Products at the top of the page I get this message:
Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/httpd/vhosts/vinarius-it.com/httpdocs/zen-cart/images/

What I have to do? I just moved the site frommy server to the client server, it looks loke everything fine but I got this issue.

How and where I make that directory "writeable" ?

Hi. My probelm is not solved though which is different to the above which is just write permissions. My permissions are set to 777 and still the images do not upload.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, sorry for not posting I forgot...

It was not a Zencart issue. I have an SSL installed and I discovered I could not upload on an unsecure domain. i.e. I could not upload on http:// but when I used https:// it worked OK. So I think there's a problem with the SSL install because I dont have this issue on other accounts on the same server. So to fix this I made the whole Admin area secure.

I have never seen this before. The only other times I have image upload problems is when permissions are not set to 777.
