Customizing Product Category Page

I have been unable to find out where I need to go to make the changes I want. I am not even sure what the correct name of the pages are that I am trying to change! I want to change the pages where it lists the various items in the category - NOT the individual items. On my site (http://www.createdbygayle.com/zencart) I want to make changes to the Earrings, Necklaces, etc. pages (the direct link to one of the pages I want to change is http://www.createdbygayle.com/zencar...index&cPath=74. I want to make the following changes:

1) Eliminate the header under the breadcrumb area that Zencart puts by default (i.e. "Earrings") because I want to use my image instead.

2) Position my image in the center top of the page, rather than left-aligned as it is now.

3) Find where to set the size of the image - for some reason, it is shrinking down my images - to different sizes on different pages.

4) Change font color - I changed it on the main page using the stylesheet.css file, but obviously I missed where to change it for these pages.

5) Somehow I managed to eliminate the border that goes around the "New Products for *month*" on each of the pages including the main index page and I cannot find where to go to put it back.

I appreciate any assistance in resolving these issues!

Since posting last night, I have found out how to resolve 2 of my issues (resizing of the photos and eliminating the headers - for anyone else having these concerns, the answer to the first is in Admin-Configuration-Images. The second issue is changed by following the instructions in http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...ht=subcategory).

I still need help in figuring out:
- how to center my header images,
- change font color on category and subcategory product pages and
- add the border around the new products area (I was able to get a border around each individual item in the section, but not around the entire section).

These can all be accomplished by simply altering the stylesheet.css file for your template. (found in "/includes/templates/[YOUR TEMPLATE/css" )

Just alter the styles for the part of the page that you want to change.

If you are not sure "what" styles to alter, my suggestion would be to view the page you want to change (in a browser). Then, do a "view source" (using you browser).

Find the section of the page that you want to change, and take note of the "class" that controls that look (or "div id" etc..). Write that down, then find that style attribute in your style sheet.

Make the changes you need and upload the new style sheet to your website.

Do you have Firefox and its Web Developer extension? If not, get them, and then you can find things like the name of the new products area for yourself...
