I noticed a full release. Is there an upgrade or perhaps upgrade instructions to be used with the full release?
Thanks!

Upgrade instructions and a changelog and a list of what's new are included in the /docs/ folder of each release.

Hey guys.
I am testing the Website Payments Pro module in version 1.3.8a and I am getting an error code of "10752 Gateway Decline - This transaction cannot be processed".
I have IPN, Website Payments Pro, & Express Checkout enabled and I have entered my API information into the module setup through copy & pasting the information.
I am using the cc#4111111111111111.
Is there a silly thing that I am overlooking?

PS- You do not need the IPN with the other PayPal modules.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
Does that mean I cannot use the test credit card number with Paypals Website Payments Pro? Should I use one of my cards to test the account?
Kim - Thanks, I will uninstall Paypal IPN. That will clean up the checkout area a lot. It was looking a bit confusing.
Yes, that is correct. The PayPal Pro is "live" and you must use a real CC or it will be declined. Note: You can set up a test product that is $.01 and refund/cancel the transaction when you are satisfied.Does that mean I cannot use the test credit card number with Paypals Website Payments Pro? You Folks are a huge help!
If you want to test PayPal with your shopping cart, you should use the sandbox. To set this up, use the following steps from PayPal.
- Log in at https://developer.paypal.com/.
- Click Test Accounts.
- Select the test account.
- Click Enter Sandbox Test Site.
- Log in and click Profile.
- In the Account Information column, click the API Access link.
- Click the Request API Credentials link.
- Select the API SSL client-side certificate radio button.
- Select the checkbox next to I agree to the API Certificate Terms of Use and terms incorporated therein.
- Click Submit.
- Click Download Certificate. Note the API username and API password; you need them later with the certificate to make an API call.
Um ... two things:
1. Zen Cart doesn't use any downloaded certificate for PayPal interaction. You don't need to download it, as there's no place to install it anyway.
You do, however, need the API username/signature/password.
So, rather than downloading a certificate, just go for the API Signature instead.
2. While using sandbox for some testing will confirm that communications is working with PayPal, it is NOT a sufficient test before going live.
You should *ALWAYS* test multiple transactions using *REAL* accounts before taking your shop live.
And, since Website Payments Pro, which handles Direct Payment, is built-in to Zen Cart v1.3.8, you should use this or the latest version of Zen Cart if you want all the features.
