Having problems adding a new page

Hi,

I just attempted to add a new page using the instructions given in the about us download mentioned in another part of this forum.

I am now getting this error when I click on the link:
Warning: main(includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_copyright_default.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/artby7/public_html/includes/templates/artbyd-ann/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 119

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_copyright_default.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /home/artby7/public_html/includes/templates/artbyd-ann/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 119

What am I doing wrong?

I just figured out why it was throwing that error and fixed it. But, the page does not show up in the define pages editor section. Anyone have a clue as to what I am doing wrong?

Hi, I'm back again. I figured out why it was not in the define pages editor and fixed that. But...here we go again. When I make a change in the content, it doesn't show up. I know I am missing something somewhere, but now I'm stumped as to what to do now. I looked in the file includes/languages/english/html_includes/mytemplate/define_pagename.php after I made the text change and the change was made there, but is not showing up in the online catalog store page.

Any ideas, anyone?

Just thought I'd let you know I figured what I needed to do and now my new page is working just peachy fine. I get dizzy looking at stuff and I end up getting brain freeze.

What did you do to fix it?

I'm so happy that you solved the issue but very many people are encountering the same problems and if you would have written what went wrong and how did you fixed it, instead of just happily saying that you fixed it, we all would be more happy hear.

If all of you are looking to add defines pages, try this mod http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=804.

All you do is name it, specify your template, and specify where you want it created. FTP it to your site...it will not overwrite any files, no need to worry about that, and go to your admin/defines pages editor, and edit your new page. Don't forget to make a link to your new pages though...

Nice as an idea... but I'm not using Windows and I'm sure that it is very small thing that is missing because I can get "About Us" page working but not the "News" page that I made by myself following the advice. It shows in the information box, it gives a title but then it doesn't load the rest of the site, so some file is wrong somehow...
