Hello everyone!!!
I was hoping for some help here since PayPal hasn't responded at all to this.
Is there an update or a patch to integrate Website Payments Pro with Zen-Cart?? Or is that forth coming?!

this will be included in a future release

Zencart is at this moment only compatible with Paypal Classic and Paypal Express Checkout.
For information, Zencart is listed in the list of shopping Carts compatible with Paypal Pro on the Paypal website. May be the development team should make sure that it is removed from this list unless a Paypal Pro payment module is going to be ready within a few days or weeks. It would be better to remove it from the list if we have to wait for months though.
Well since I first posted this...Paypal has changed their website and now claims that Zen-Cart is compatible with Website Payments Pro... here's the link.

What the heck is going on... I'd really like to not leave Zen-Cart but I can't wait I need this ready to go today.
I talked to a person at PayPal, this week. They have some programmers that have completed a module but it is still in beta, for testing and paypal is not releasing their code till it is ready.
now why in th ehell wpould paypal release their own code when they have been working so close with the dev team here,
you guys need to stop talking to the folks in sales
the dev team has said that this will be added ( in the next release )

don't kill the messenger here.
The way the sales guy put it, if I knew the developers on the team developing the module, I could probe get the code in advance.
What that brings to mind is, that is not a very good corporate policy of letting things leak out to friends or acquaintances. What I would say is that they were referring to our very own ZC dev team, and saving face so that they sounded like they made the module.
JOsh
lol sorry about that was only blanks,

v1.3.8 will include Website Payments Pro support.
ETA has not been established as yet.
As for PayPal's information, their sales team has been updated today on the nature of what is supported and not. I'm sure they would express their apologies for the confusion.

Wow... do we have a release date yet?
I installed and modified Zencart (my 2nd cart so far...) because the tech support guy at Paypal highly suggested it for use with my Website Payments Pro acciount! (My first cart was too obscure to get any help with....) Yes, that's right - "tech support guy" - and that was only two days ago...
I do really like all the control and help that comes with Zencart...
Now I have to decide if I should wait for the new release or try to find a 3rd cart! AAAAAGGGGHHHHH......
I probably have about one to two months before my product line is ready to go, does anyone know if v1.3.8 will be out by then? And are we certain the new module will be there?
Man, I've built websites before, but never with a shopping cart.... it is so much more complicated! On the upside, I could sit around and play with the css file forever!
