Google Checkout Installation Help! ZenCart!

Hello everyone,

I have had three and a half hours of sleep as I am pulling my hair out trying to integrate GCO into my ZenCart Site.
I would be what you call a "Zen Noob" but i have dedicated my whole summer so far as to getting my site running.

I have read the installation help on installing 1.4, but Can anybody walk me through it?

Kinda like a step-by-step tutorial, I have trouble transfering teh GCO files into my directory.

I do apologize if this post happens alot on this forum, or if what i am asking is too much, but please bear with me :)

However how do i transfer my files over?

OPTION A:=========If you have the basic Zen Cart installation without any other modules or add-on's, simply copy the provided files into your Zen Cart system, preserving the file structure.For your reference, here is the list of files you need to copy over to your system: YOUR_ZENCART_FOLDER/: CHANGELOG INSTALLATION README

Im not quite sure how to do this. Again, I am sorry if this seems like a typical 'new user post' but im pouring my heart and soul into learning as much as i can.

The add-in uses the method most add-in modules do for zen-cart: Unzip the files using the option to include folder names and retain the structure (usually the default). FTP the files to your zen-cart site using the same directory structure. Admin into Admin, Includes into Includes, etc. You will also have a folder called googlecheckout. This will be a new folder in the root (same level as Admin and Includes) of your zen-cart. Go to Admin>Modules>Payment and set up your options. Select the same shipping options as your Admin>Modules>Shipping (if that's still necessary in v1.4).

Be sure you have a Googlecheckout account and SSL.

How did you install Zen-cart? with Fantastico?

May I recommend Filezilla for an open source FTP program. You have to use the "File > Site Manager" to add your server name, account login, and password. You use this information to connect to your "folders" in the server where your site is hosted (the server, login, pass info most likely was given to you in your welcome email from your host).

Yes, i did use fantastico to install Zen-Cart.

Does it replace them or what? (Im ftp impaired)

I would recommend:
1. Read the instructions given to you by your hosting company. There, they give you three pieces of information that you need: server name, account login, and password
2. Read this information on using Filezilla (this is about a FTP software - you will need this)
3. Download Filezilla (or any other software), install and use. http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=21558
4. Use your server name, account login, and password using Filezilla (or any other FTP software)
5. You can "drag and drop" files from your computer to your site using the software.

Once you have your FTP software in place, you can get help from your hosting company on how to do step 4.

I have cPanel as provding by my host, should i use this or filezilla?
