    Default Paragraphs

    Hey there !

    In my Zen Cart experimentation I discovered the layout lacks a bit of paragraphs (for CSS purposes).

    I would love to add automatically paragraph brackets <p> everywhere text is displayed.

    Is that possible with some manipulation, without going through any template ?

    Many thanks in advance !

    Sure. If you go to Admin>Tools>Define Pages Editor, and use the HTML Area Editor, when you want another paragraph, just hit "Enter", just like you were typing an e-mail. The paragraphs (and tags) are automatically entered. If you save your work, look at the page you just edited, you will see that it's in the form that you typed it in. Then go back to your editor, and this time, use "Plain Text". Once it opens, you will see all the tags are there.

    Hello and thanks :)
    But all the pages aren't in that Define Pages Editor menu, right ?
    I.e. in the log in menu, if you choose "Adress book", there's a whole paragraph that isn't included into <p> (there are quite several ones through the store).
    But I'm not able to find where in the admin I may access this and edit.

    I think you would have to edit the file . . .

    /includes/languages/english/login.php
    Line #18 : define('TEXT_NEW_CUSTOMER_POST_INTRODUCTION_SPLIT', 'Create a Customer Profile with <strong>' . STORE_NAME . '</strong> which allows you to shop faster, track the status of your current orders, review your previous orders and take advantage of our other member\'s benefits.');

    you would want to use the Override system of course

    One more note; as you find other things you want to change the Developers Tool kit is a great way to find the file you need to 'adjust'.

    Admin > Tools > Developers Tool Kit

    I use the bottom option and have it search both catalog and admin. Worked well for me so far.
