Group Pricing by Item ISSUES

Hi all,

I have group pricing by item installed. Have a customer who is added into a group and he placed an order with me this morning for 2 items which the Group Price for those items were set.

When I got the email for the new order something didn't look right so I calculated all the prices and the discounts and he received a double discount.

Here is a breakdown of the order:

Item a) Regular price $60 His Group Price $55
Item b) Regular price $10x5 = $50 His Group Price $8.50x5 = $42.50

Total Regular Price was $110
His Group Price was $97.50
Discount = $12.50

With his group price discount this is what he should have paid:
Cost - $97.50 + $16.68 S&H + $5.85 Tax = $120.03

Now this is what was at the end of the Order Email:
Sub-Total: $97.50
United Parcel Service: $16.68
Group Discount: -$9.75
TAX 6.0%: $6.27
Total: $110.70

See the difference in price? So with this mod he realistically got discounted $22.25 instead of the $12.50 ONLY.

What is causing this to throw out multiple discounts like this? I need to get this issue resolved ASAP as I can't afford to keep having this happen in the future.

I've never used that mod, so I'm just guessing, but try turning off 'group discount' in Admin - Modules - Order Total.

LOL you beat me to the punch here. Was getting ready to post and say I found my issue. When I set up this mod and set the Group info I also added a 10% in the box. Which is what caused the additional $9.75 discount over and above the Group price per items ordered.

So that is totally all my fault here. No biggie as my customer notified me as well and told me about the discount and went ahead and paid me the difference AFTER I told him I would eat the difference myself.

So this issue has been resolved as far as I am concerned (at least I hope) ;)
