Crafty Syntax Live Help Sidebox - change images

Hello,

Have just installed Crafty Syntax Live Help and the Sidebox module to add it to my zencart. All seems to be working fine and happy with it.

Just want to change the online/offline images that show by default when sidebox is installed. The Online one is really ugly IMHO so have created a different one and uploaded it to the onoffimages folder - just not sure what to do from here.

Read the Crafty Syntax instructions but these dont seem to apply to the sidebox implementation (although possibly do to someone who knows what they are doing). Had a look at the sidebox file but couldnt readily see what to change here.

Just uploaded my new file and replaced it over the top of the existing file (old one renamed as online1_old.gif) but this has not worked so obviously requires a proper fix.

Any advice gratefully received on this one - will stick with the old file if I have to but prefer my new image.

cheers

this sidebox is installed on right sidebar about halfway down.

I am also waiting for some experts to clarify this. I am also trying to work with live support sidebox in my zencart store, but I don't know how exactly. Sure it will not be the one I want if I have the orginal ugly image there.

I came up with one thing:
Just find out the image you want to replace, and open your photoshop, create a new one in exactly the same dimension.

For anyone still struggling with this:

Just open your craftysyntax folder in FTP and goto the sub folder called onoff_images.

You'll see in there that there are two images to change online1.gif and offine1.gif.

Just upload your own images, replacing those with yours.

Re: Crafty Syntax Live Help Sidebox - change images

Thank you limelites , your solution works perfectly! :)

Another question, is anyone else getting just a white line below the "live chat" picture? I do, and I can't seem to find a way to get rid of it.

I suppose this should be the link to http://www.craftysyntax.com/ , but for me it really isn't :(

Any ideas, please? Thanks :)

EDIT : shop is located at www.crashdiet.org/webshop , in case someone needs to see it live :)
