Discount price shown as regular price

Hi, I wold like to ask you if there is a possibility to setup prices like that:

1. I would like insert recommended price to all of my items in shop
2. But I would like to discount these prices with e.g. 3% or 5%
3. I would like to show these discounted prices in my shop as an regular price with no other comments like: "you save.... x%" and without the scratched recommended price.

Is this possible or is there any contribuion for sothing like that ?

You could use salemaker (in ADMIN), and you could try removing/altering the define texts that throw up the comments like "you save". I think these are all in: includes/templates/template_default/english.php, so aftrer you change it put the new english.php in an overrides folder: includes/templates/CUSTOM/english.php


Changes in the stylesheet will help with cosmetics of how it's displayed.

Thank you I think your answer discribes what a friend of mine recommended to me. So I will try to do it that way. But, did not you mean the "SPECIALS" in ADMIN ? Beacuse I think this is the only way how to setup discount for only selected products.

If I choose "SALEMAKER" in ADMIN I can setup % discnout only for category but it is not possible to exclude some items from the catagor from this discount.
You know I need to discount at about 90% of items in a category and for other 5% I need to setup another discount and th rest let without any discnout.
If I understand SALEMAKER well, SALEMAKER is not possible to go by products, but only by category. If it is possible to exclude some items from selected category in SALEMAKER, it cloud be the best soluion for me, but I do not know how to do it.

You could achieve this effect to a degree using the Quantity Discounts contribution, using per item discounting with the first level set at 1. Use marketing text example 1 or 2 to print price. They will see the discount at checkout time.
