I went into my banners to set up the sort order and they turned off without changing the edits. Now I can't seem to swtch them back on as they are refusing to be altered.
Any Ideas?

Is your images/banners folder set to 777? If not, you might try CHMOD it to 777 to see if that corrects the problem.

No luck.
I am working with my site on Xampp ans so I right clicked on the folder properties and turned off read only. I did it in the override folder etc.
It still wont budge.
Hmm.....When you click on the little red box icon, does it ever turn green, or act like you never touched it?
Have you tried to use the properties & "security" (assuming you're on Windows) to set the permissions? Even though Xamp knows it 777, maybe Windows doesn't?
Have you went to one of the banners, clicked on "Edit", and tried turning it on that way?

I tried the red box icons and going into the edit page and neither are altering the admin display or web site. It keeps switching over to disabled.
I will try looking for the windows option - not done that way before/guessing as i usually change permissions via cpanel or FTP![]()
Actually isn't that what i did. Right Click on the folder, select properties and uncheck Read only?
It is odd. the icon boxes for new wimdow and banner on SSL work but not the diplay/disable icon boxes![]()
Nope. what I was talking about is: right-click on the folder, click properties, then when the dialog box pops up, do you see the tab that says "Security"? That's where I'm talking about (like this screen shot ). But, I really don't think it will help you in this case, anyway. I figure something happened to your Admin/banner_manager.php file. You might try to get another copy of that file, and compare it to yours. You might find the problem there.
