    Try Admin/Configuration/Product Listing--Display Product Price/Add to Cart

    Must be a value other than 0 (sort order).

    I found a solution to my issue! In Catalog/product types you need to tick the checkbox "This Product can be added to cart:" in the edit panel for each Product Type.

    My store owner did not do this when he added his products and the add to cart never appeared.

    Yes! Duh!

    This worked for me.

    Can't believe I didn't think to go in there. Awesome!

    I was having this problem in IE 7 - it would not show the add to cart. I found another thread that said to move things around in tpl_product_info_display.php which I did, but the add to cart needed to be towards the top (away from the attributes that I want people to click on before adding to cart).

    Anyway, I ultimately put everything back the way it was, and then deleted this line out that seems to be attached to NOTHING:
    <br class="clearBoth" />

    Works perfectly!

    So, just another idea if someone else is having this problem.

    The <br class="clearBoth" /> is for Clearing floated elements and ensuring that containers are as long as they should be. You may have alignment issues by deleting this.
