Zencart Has Gone From My Server, I Need Help Fast

Hi there,
I have somehow managed to remove Zen Cart from my server!!!! the configadmin site still works, the Mysql database is still on the server but when I click Fantastico and click install zencart it says that there is currently no installation!!!!???

I saved all the files from my server last week, I am worried that If i just recopy everything on to the server that it will completely die!!

Can someone plz help me???? I am losing business

Ok, first of all you want to backup your mysql database. Do this with the backup/restore tool in your cpanel, or whatever your backend is.

Also, check to see if you accidently copied the site into another folder. It's easier to do than you would think.

Your backend software will tell you how much disc space is used so if there's still allot of info on there then you know the site is in another folder.

Do you have a current backup from cpanel or whatever your backend software is? if so then you can simply restore it.

Do you at least have a copy of the template? If so then you can copy the files back on a new install, and then copy the mysql db that is cur

thanks so much for your reply, The whole site still appears to be there as it is showing about 50meg of usage.

the site address is www.beefclothing.com if you type that in it should obviously go to the online store index but it doesn't also on the Cpanel, when you go to do a new installation od zencart using Fantastico it normally comes up and says 'SORRY BUT YOU ALREADY HAVE ZENCART INSTALLED' but now it doesn't,

Is it possible for me to simply recopy all of the site files onto the server usinf FTP again? or could this lose the database and other essential files?
