An unbuyable product

Hello, we have converted to zencart, and are hoping to display an item that people cannot purchase.

It is against redwings policy to have any shoes for sale on the internet.

We would like a boot on sale to be on our site, integrated with search and such, instead of just being on the intro page.

Are there options or modifications that can be done to make a product unbuyable?

We cannot use the stock options of no sale for 0 qty, because we do not track inventory online as our in store inventory doesn't export well, and all of our online products are 0 inventory.

You can use the "Document Product" type in your admin to make the full page without the add to cart box just for it. See the Admin> Catalog> Product Types
