Blank page when category has only one product.

Hi!

I'm a newbie with Zen Cart. I got hired a month ago by a company that had Zen Cart already installed and I'm still having issues finding my way around.

In this particular case, I just realized there was a bug in the website (probably prior to my arrival) where each time somebody was trying to display a category containing only one type a product, a blank page would appear instead of the listing. I don't seem to have any issue with categories with more than one or nothing at all.

Has anyone had this problem before? I'd like to know which files to check.

See if it shows the product type in the URL and then see if the tpl_ for that product type is blank, missing or otherwise corrupt on the server in either the template_default or the custom_template for the templates and overrides ...

The problem isn't a product display but a product listing in a specific category. There's no template specific to that category or any other; it's the same template for every category. Also, it wasn't clear in my original post but the problem doesn't happen for just one category but to three or four categories who all have in common that they contain exactly one item.

There must be a "for" loop somewhere that doesn't do its job, or something along the lines, but I don't know where to look.

Ajeh isn't as far off as you might think.

Try this:
Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Skip 1-prod Categories ... turn this off.
Now what happens to the product listing?

And what happens if you click on the product link in that listing?

Solved! I only got access to all admin options yesterday and I'm still overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that don't need coding. I have no idea if I would have found this on my own so thanks guys!

Now, surfers have to click the category and then the product even if there's just one but, quite frankly, I can live with that!
