My UPS Shipping Module adds 3 pounds to the order to calculate shipping. If the order is 1.5 lbs total, it reports it is 4.5 lbs and calculates shipping based on that rate.
Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

Go to admin > configuration > shipping/packaging and check the tare weight. Setting it to 0:0 will not add additional weight.
