Redoing store - how to use backup

I'm redoing my store completely...
The current store started with 1.3.0 (i think) and was always updated and contributions installed.

Now, the NEW store is redone from scretch with 1.3.7. some contributines, i installed again, some are new.

the question that bugs me to death is a HOW-TO
How do i get ONLY the current customers and products into my new store without taking tables or date i won't need in a "brand new" store?

i'm thankfull for a nice clue


PS.... I ADVICE EVERY Zenner to get Goh Koon Hoek's PHANTASTIC manual. It is REALLY a great help and written in a very easy language. I flew through the book and even enjoyed reading it. not too many manuals are actually fun to read. GREAT WORK

Using phpmyadmin grab every table for customers and every table for categories, products, arttributes etc. (if a mod also has a sql patch check to insure wht tables it updates) restore these to the new store DB and re-run zc_install and update the DB only....
