IE6 Background Image Placement & Text

Hi, I am getting pretty far along in making my Zen Cart look the way I want it to, but I am having trouble in IE6 especially and could use some advice.

I am working in Firefox 2.0.0.4 and have a PC and am using TopStyle Pro as an editor.

My problem is that the background images look fine in Firefox and IE7, but float about 100-200 px above the fold in IE6 and Safari. Also, my page (Classics link) has no text on it in IE6! It's blank! Can someone please tell me how to remedy these two vexing problems? I looked for an answer but didn't find this exact problem addressed on this forum. Thanks in advance.

I checked this in IE6 and do not see your issues???

Hmmmm. Wot, this is a CSS question, I CAN'T be free of problems! There must be some glaring error, something hideously humiliating (like did you remember to close the curly parens...) This is too easy.
