Default How do i customize the shopping cart?

Right now, on the page on "Your Shopping Cart Contents" is a rather unsightlyy grey based table that shows the stuff I have in my cart. Where and how do I customise this--the colors and backgrounds, etc? I've tinkered with the CSS but nothing seems to work--I'm guessing I have been messing with the wrong code.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

    Amy,

Post a url directly to the page you are referring to

Kobra, sorry--am working on the shop locally so I can't provide a URL, but here's a screenshot... It's the grey box I am referring to.

And the link to the page on my server is http://localhost:8888/test/index.php...=shopping_cart

    Thanks,
    Amy

    What version are you using?
    What template are you using?
    what have you changed?

    Kobra,

I'm using Zencart 1.3.7, using my own templates (from template_default), and have not changed a single thing for the shopping cart. (perhaps only turning off the delete checkbox at the far right of the product.

Sorry if I didn't provide enough info in the first place..

Bad idea for upgrade issues. You should have your own template override folder in order to keep your store safe for each upgrades. See the wiki, FAQs, posts as you can also buy the zen-cart book for more details on how to do so.

    Hi Oracle,

No worries, I've already did my overrides--what I meant was I used the template_default as the base for my overrides (and not the classic, etc.).

Now how about the shopping cart CSS? ;)

A lot of times the selectors you want to add styles to are in the page but not in the stylesheet. Just view source on the shopping cart and find which CSS selectors you want to add code for and then add them to the style sheet.

    Best Regards,
    Jeff
