    Default Error message

I know I posted this last night but I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I want to get rid of the "Congratulations..." message from the home page and I did exactly what it says in the FAQ's but I get the following error when I edit it:

    "Warning
: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/bigfoot/public_html/includes/languages/english/index.php:60) in /home/bigfoot/public_html/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 44"

I'm doing it exactly as it says. Could it be the custom folder, I don't have that as a choice. I have extra_definitions and html_includes but no custom.

    Thanks

    Rob

    Ok -

in your includes/languages/english/index.php (the file you ain't supposed to modify),

    change:

    ?><spaces ...>
    replace with:

    PHP Code:
    ?>
So - simply remove the spaces after the '?>' tag should help.

Yup, it worked. Was able to get rid of message without the error. Though I am a bit confused, if you aren't supposed to edit that to clear the message, why does it say to do that in the FAQ's? PHP is a real finicky language.

    Thanks

"Could it be the custom folder, I don't have that as a choice. I have extra_definitions and html_includes but no custom."

/includes/languages/english/ has a /classic/ folder in it, so you can make your own /custom/ folder and put your override copy of index.php in it.

The custom template folders don't exist until you create them; /classic/ folders are a guide to where you can make /custom/ folders.
