Google Checkout Module is not forwarding to Google?

I installed the google checkout module according to the instructions. When placing a test purchase, It goes through step 1 through 3 properly in Zen-Cart, but never forwards to google for actual payment. On step 3 it just says the order is pending. Payment method is properly listed as 'GoogleCheckout' But after clicking on Confirm Order I am taken to the checkout_success page, and never forwarded to google for payment.

Any ideas?
