cURL Question

Hey all,
In trying to install the Linkpoint/YourPay payment module, the instructions advise:

*cURL is required and MUST be compiled into PHP

Now, I have used cURL as a stand alone app before, from the command line, but I don't understand what is meant by "compiled into PHP". Can anyone advise?

Thanks for the update that you were missing cURL and this was the problem with your LinkPoint and/or YourPay Payment Module issues ...
