Problems with FileZilla 2.2.32

I downloaded FileZilla 2.2.32 since it was the most recommended FTP program. here on the forum.

It has been dropping large numbers of files/folders with no error messages of any kind, specifically when downloading from the site to my local drive.

This has happened every time when copying a larger folder such as the Admin or the Images.

I finally had to try another program and ended up getting stable results with SmartFTP v. 2.5.1006, copying my entire site to my local drive. FileZilla was unable to copy even a single directory without dropping files and folders without giving any error messages.

Kind of surprising since SmartFTP is held in such low regard.
What could be the cause for the bad performance with FileZilla?
What might SmartFTP be doing wrong that I am not seeing?

Have you reported the problems to the FileZilla project? Is the version you are using the Stable release?

Same with you, it is 2.x.x bug maybe.

After now I am using the FileZilla 3.0 beta, all the above problems gone.

Hope FileZilla can released 3.0 soon and do the best of best FTP in the world, since only FileZilla are free for business using.
