red flag Please help a silly newbie...

I tried playing around with attributes but found that I couldn't get them to do exactly what I wanted, so I deleted them...all of them so as to clear up web space....and no, I didn't back up my site before doing so.
Now when I go to my website most of the page is missing except for two boxes on the left and the following error message:

1054 Unknown column 'products_price_w' in 'field list'
    in:
    [select products_price, products_price_w, products_priced_by_attribute from products where products_id = '209']

    ## The number 209 changes with each refresh/page change attempt.
Can anyone help me to fix this huge mess please....

The first question is, how did you delete the attributes? The normal methods shouldn't have any such effect on code or database...

Is there supposed to be a featured or new products sidebox next below the two that do display? That might be a place to start looking for a problem.

Thankyou for helping again...I do seem to get into trouble with this...
I deleted them from the admin interface. I went into attributes by clicking on the "A" next to my product; from there I fiddled about and then just deleted them all one by one.

The space where the error is written used to be where the new products showed up.

When I go to update products in the Categories / Products - Top page I also get the following message:
1054 Unknown column 'p.products_price_w' in 'field list'
    in:
    [select p.products_type, p.products_id, pd.products_name, p.products_quantity, p.products_image, p.products_price, p.products_price_w, p.products_date_added, p.products_last_modified, p.products_date_available, p.products_status, p.products_model, p.products_quantity_order_min, p.products_quantity_order_units, p.products_priced_by_attribute, p.product_is_free, p.product_is_call, p.products_quantity_mixed, p.product_is_always_free_shipping, p.products_quantity_order_max, p.products_sort_order from products p, products_description pd, products_to_categories p2c where p.products_id = pd.products_id and pd.language_id = '1' and p.products_id = p2c.products_id and p2c.categories_id = '0' order by p.products_sort_order, pd.products_name limit 0, 10]

From your description, you shouldn't have been able to damage the database or code... so I don't know what could have happened.
