Yahoo! Product Submit Feeder

A Zen Cart member approached me wishing to write a contribution for Yahoo! Product Submit. Commercial scripts do exist but are not available publicly. I'm willing to do this contribution if there is enough interest from those willing to support. It would be fully configurable from the Admin.

Please reply by PM if you are willing to support the writing of this contribution. Otherwise, post any ideas or important information that would need to go into this script.

Once the script is complete, I will start another SUPPORT THREAD.

No minimum donation is required but there must be enough support to make this worthwhile. I will also continue to provide updates as long as people find the contribution useful and worthwhile to support.

numinix, not to curb your enthusiasm ... but the idea is usually to make a contribution and if folks like it then hope they will help support the work that went into it ...

As in let's not sell things here ... you can use your own site for that ... :smile:

No problem Ajeh. However, anyone who does read this please respond by PM only. I'll begin working on the contribution regardless but hopefully people will give support to warrant updating the script.

Thank you, that would be better. I will eventually make this contribution public as I have done for many of my other scripts.

All of the downloads are free. Are they not available for download after selecting them?

Huhm, I feel so stupid here, but I really don't know how this works.
I go to download section, add the product I want to cart, checkout, then at the final page got a message saying that I'll get it within 1-2 days something. Never got any download link.

I'm still learning to use this function as well. I'm going to be reworking this to avoid having to order the download and still get the advantage of storing all of the downloads in the database for export.

Ah, I have to login to my account, then view the previous orders I made, and the links are there. Kinda complicated if you use on a real business site.

It should become available as soon as you checkout now. I had to add the Zen Freecharger with default status DELIVERED. I'm planning to move the downloads to documents-general with redirect links eventually. For now, continue to use this process.

Not Found
The requested URL /zen-cart/ypsf_v1.01.zip was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Great Mod! Just a question: Does this mod give URL to images and the product itself? I used ImageHandler, so its a bit of an issue there....
