What are some mods that ANY zencart user must have

i know one is the seo mod but what others

Actually the SEO mods (for there are two of them) are quite controversial and debate breaks out here from time-to-time as to whether they actually have any benefit or are just a PIA.

My number one must have, for those whose servers will support it, is the Backup MySQL mod. After that would be Image Handler, since even if you turn off all the fancy stuff, it still produces thumbnails that look so much better than the images on most other Zen Carts.
