Categories link in template - remove from top

Hello :)

First post here .... and totally new to zen cart. I have purchased a template to make customising quicker but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the text links for the categories removed from the top of the page

As you can see, the site is nothing to do with my products (yet) but the colour scheme was almost there so I thought it may make customising my first zen cart easier until I get to know how it all works.

Basically, I just want the categories listed in the side boxes only and all of those centred links at the top I need gone ... I have looked through the forums but cant find the answer. Sorry if it is a stupid question :)

That is the categories-tabs menu, and you can turn it off in admin > Configuration > Layout Settings.

Thank god i found that post. I like you completely missed it, and it was causing me a lot of stress.
