I put a test page here - http://clandco.com/test.html
I put the code:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
in the body tag. Is this what you meant? Nothing showed up. Thanks!

Change the extension to .php .
The code doesn't need to be in the body section, it can be the only thing on the page.
I just uploaded the file and allow_url_fopen appears to be on - http://clandco.com/test.php
This is very frustrating. This is the second Zen Cart site that I have worked on and I'm unable to get either one to display the product numbers and quantity in the PayPal emails. Is there some basic setting that I might be missing in either the Zen Cart or PayPal Admin? Is there a special attribute that I need to turn on for my specific products?
The PayPal IPN is not designed to give a line item receipt. If you want line items you will have to use the Express Checkout.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.
Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
This is how my PayPal receipts read also. I used to have a different shopping cart system and when I received my PayPal receipt it had the same information except under "Order Description:" it said "Bo Peep's Wool Shop Order #XXX". Is this an issue that should be directed to PayPal?
If you use Express Checkout, you'll get detailed receipts.
