not sure if this is a layout or CSS question as I am soo new to all this. I am only using two colums so how do i delete that line on the right? so it doesnt look like a 3 column layout?

Looking quickly at this I think that you need to look at this image
background-image: url(../images/mainwrapper_tile.jpg); and possibly using a graqaphic editor stack this several deep so that ou can see if this is in your image, alternatively, you can just specify a mono color and no image.
