Changing Image Color on MouseOver or Click

I'm trying to set up attributes so that when a user/customer clicks on a color swatch or selects a color from a dropdown list, the color on the attribute image changes to the selected color.

Is there a way to do this in Zen Cart?

I'm new to this and appreciate all responses
