I am moving this question from the paypal threads to what I hope is the right area.
I am suddenly having problems downloading files (tested with zips and jpgs). Everything was working fine until I got paypal working with my zen cart, though I'm sure that is a coincidence. Now though, whether I go through paypal or make my product free so I can download it direct, I get the following stuffit expander (v11) error when downloading a file:



and on trying to open the jpg or zip, I get a system error saying the file may be corrupt. I know the files are fine because I can download and open them via my ftp app, Transmit.
I have found several posts which seem to indicate the same problem but haven't yet found a solution. I am a total newbie and trying to learn as fast as possible. My forum searches over the last few hours have failed to find anything I can understand as a solution so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using zc 1.3.7 on a mac PPC G5. I get the same results in both Safari and Firefox.
My server is linux.
