Product add ons?

Hi,

When you look at a product the 'also purchased' part is below, but is there a way when a user adds a product to the cart to display a product extras/ add ons bit. I have seen this on many big name stores. I am makin a generator shop so cables, covers etc are addons which can apply to not just one product.

Look in "Marketing Tools" in the Downloads area; there are a few different upselling/cross-selling modules.

I have just installed the cross selling mod, it makes linked products appear at the bottom of a product page. However is there a way for this to appear in the cart? So once they have added the product they can be provided with further additions
