Default Multiple images: Is Image Handler easiest?

I have been reading through the posts about multiple images and downloaded imagehandler. I am wondering if it is the easiest way for me though. The store I am working on will have constantly changing items where each item is unique. Once an item sells, that one is gone forever so I will constantly be adding items. (Stop me now if there is something better to use than zencart or if there is a good mod that may put all my sold items in an archive so people can view what I have made in the past). A lot of them will only have one or two images so that should be pretty easy, but some may have up to 20. When I sell on ebay, I use something like Photobucket and upload them there, and then it generates all the HTML for thumbnails and I just paste it in the description and it is pretty easy. I tried that on a description in zencart and it worked there too. Can I do something just like that, but instead of hosting my pictures on Photobucket, can I have them on my host? Or is Image Handler easier?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. And can you title an image, so when you click the thumbnail, it will have a caption on it?

I meant not to host images elsewhere - just place them in your shop /images dir.

Naming convention is specific for Zen Cat to use additional images.

    Quick primer:

base name must be unique and not like pic1, pic2

additionals need to use the base name and a number i.e.

    image.jpg
    image_1.jpg
    image_2.jpg

Caption? Do you want to make this part of the image?
