Register from admin page

I would like to know if the following is possible and if so, how to go about it.

I use my zen cart as the members-only wholesale side to my retail site. I want to disable the option for people to register themselves and I want to be able to register them from the admin panel.

In this way I will get the information I need, rather than what the registration page asks for, and I will be able to check that eaech member is a genuine wholesale customer.

I also want to be able to remove the registration page from the site.

If you set the cart to not show prices unless logged in and set it to require that users be authorized, you can have a visible site that promotes your products but does not revel the wholesale prices.
Changing the login information would be along the methods of the mod for tax id number.
