Default Uninstalling zen cart (old test environment)

I previously had two installations of zencart running, one was my current shop one was a test environment for making large changes to the shop. Once I was happy with the test environment I made that the actual shop and re-named the old shop directory to shop_old.

I have been running the new shop for a month now and everything seems fine, so I would like to uninstall the other zencart, trouble is I don't know which one I am now running off, I assume if I delete the wrong one, I will lose the shop. I think I might be running of the "test" zencart install (I have renamed directories, so I can't be sure) Is there any way on knowing which install I am running off so I can delete the other one and free up some space.

    Thanks

The url of the shop should tell you where you're running it from.

The URL could be pointing to a particular directory that is different from what you might think.

Quickest way is to FTP into the site, go to one of the the directories (shop or shop-old) and rename index.php to index.hph. If you shop doesn't come up in the browser, DON'T delete that directory.

Remember to check if you are using different databases. If you're using a different database for each, check the includes/configure.php for the directory you want to delete BEFORE you delete that directory. The configure.php will tell you which database it's using. Finding the right directory....easy. Deleting the wrong database........

    Hello,

... Zen-Cart uninstall consists of manually removing the zen-cart files? Or, is there an "uninstall" option in the admin page?

    Thanks.
