Stuck PayPal order plus creating duplicate store

I am trying to create a duplicate of my current store in an effort to solve the stuck PayPal problem I am having, and to add a credit card payment setup in the near future, without shutting down my current store.

I did an upgrade from 1.3.5 to 1.3.7 about a week ago, and that is when my stuck PayPal problems began. I didn’t have any stuck PayPal orders in the last year+ running 1.3.5 on the same GoDaddy host account. I did not have SSL enabled when I did the recent upgrade so I am trying to make a duplicate store that was installed from scratch with SSL enabled. Once I get it running I will switch over to it. Also I am pretty sure that in the boxes that asked for the https: directory on the existing install, I dd leave them as is, which might be the cause of my woes? I don't know where to check that information other than when Zen Cart is installed.

I now have a new database installed and a new store from this download: zen-cart-v1.3.7-full-patched-07012007.zip, installed in a new directory that was all done AFTER the SSL was enabled.

Do I need to install any patches to my current setup that was originally installed with zen-cart-v1.3.7-full-fileset-12302006.zip plus the two following patches:
zen-cart-v1.3.7-admin-patch.zip
zen-cart-v1.3.7-xss-patch.zip

Also just for grins, is this download:
zen-cart-v1.3.7-full-fileset-12302006.zip

the same as this one, less the two patches above?
zen-cart-v1.3.7-full-patched-07012007.zip


What files should I NOT copy to the new site besides the ones mentioned in this document, the /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php.

Are there any files/folders on the existing install that will need to be modified in order to work with the new install that has SSL enabled, or should I be OK if just I follow article 100 above, after I have installed the needed updates if any to my existing installation?

Stuck PayPal Orders

Had another stuck PayPal order in my current store, where the payment posted but it failed to post an order on my site. (This is happening 100% of the time with any PayPal IPN payments.

Here is the debug text. I didn't include the longer ones with the customer name, address, amounts, shipping etc. but can post them if needed (less private information).

What in here could be a possible cause of the stuck PayPal orders? I see several errors and warnings but don't understand them enough to get anything usefule from them. Hopefully someone here can help.

There have been several patches since the 12302006 release and there is currently a cumulative patch available. I would suggest that you get the patch and upload it to your site. It does not touch the database but DOES effect PayPal and some important security changes to the admin.
If you are concerned about what might be overwritten, get a copy of winmerge to compare the changes.
You will need to uninstal and reinstall Paypal after the upgrade.
