Need help changing colors, please

I would like to change a few colors, can you point me to the correct files?

What is that bar called that shows my EZ Page links?

What is the name of the bar that shows New Products and Featured Products?

Last, but not least - how do I change the colors on the shipping estimator block?

You can find the answers yourself to those questions and more by installing the Firefox Web Developer extension, and using its Information > Display Element Information tool.
This will show you what declaration needs to be changed in your stylesheet for a particular item, and even let you edit the CSS and see the effect instantly.

Might I also suggest firebug and html validator as add-ons? You will fall in love with firebug in the inspect mode!
And, since you're starting to work with the css, get a copy of TopStyle lite to help there.

I have downloaded Firefox web developer and it's all very interesting.

Does it make any difference where I add the data to control the sidebox colours?
Currently I am adding them to the bottom of the stylesheet, is there a better protocol?

Web Developer should identify the area that needs to be changed. You then find the area in the stylesheet and change it accordingly. If the item is not listed, you can then add it to the bottom of the stylesheet. Having duplications (especially with colors) can cause funny "jumps" when loading as colors change.
