xhtml problem HTML editor is not there

I've got a workin' Zencart install.
Now I'm tryin' to modify the basic pages with Define Pages Editor, but the HTML rich text editor doesn't appear. At first it was OFF on MyStore configuration panel, but now that I've put it on... still doesn't appear.
    How can I fix this?

Thanks a lot for any tip :)

While there is a Default session setting available for the editor ... when you first set it you will need to manually change it if you want to use it right away as that Default setting is set per session ...

Next time you login it should be set for you ...

thanks so much ... but sorry, I really don't understand what I need to do to make it visible. I've tried everything but it doesn't appear.
Where do I find those session settings?
    Thanks again

If you set it manually does it work?

If not, reload the directory for:
    /editors

from a clean Zen Cart v1.3.7 from our download to your site ...

    Hi :)

Which browser are you using? Although the very same plugins are shared among them , the HTML editor doesn't appear on Konqueror or Opera on my linux system. But it works just fine with Firefox. Maybe you should give Firefox a try, if you haven't already. I haven't tried with windows Explorer though as I am working on a linux machine...

    Good luck!

    Hi :)

I did several attempts with different browsers. I'm on a mac intel and I've tried with Firefox, Camino, and even Safari. All give the same results.
The rest of the Zen install's working nice.

On the MAMP install (localhost) HTML Edit is workin' fine. I can't understand what's the matter with it, but I know that I'm not the only one with this kind of issue.

Still waitin' for the good tip... many thanks anyway :)

I am sorry it didn't work out for you I am out of ideas, but I still think it might be browser related though ... I don't have the editor on 2/3th of the browsers on my sistem! I will let you know if I come across smt.

Just a stab in the dark here. You have gone to Admin --> Configuration --> My Store --> HTML Editor and turned it on, right?
    A little help with colors.
