Have you reported the problems to the FileZilla project? Is the version you are using the Stable release?

Same with you, it is 2.x.x bug maybe.
After now I am using the FileZilla 3.0 beta, all the above problems gone.
Hope FileZilla can released 3.0 soon and do the best of best FTP in the world, since only FileZilla are free for business using.
