I am trying to set up a simple percentage based attribute for all of my products, that works when a special price is added.
This shop sells raw coffee beans. All of their prices are for 250g bags.
They also offer 125g and 500g bags, which are 50% and 200% of the original price respectively.
For example:
My Coffee - £15.68 per 250g.
I add an attribute called 125g, and set Price Factor as 0.5, and Offset as 1.
When the customer chooses 125g, the price is halved to £7.84.
All good so far.
I set a 'special' price of £7.50. Zen Cart says this is 52% discount.
What needs to happen is, when 125g is selected, the price halves to £3.75.
When the customer orders 125g of this special, the price in their shopping basket drops to £-0.34 (minus 34p).
The product is not 'priced by attributes', and "Apply Discounts Used by Product Special/Sale:" is set to "No".
