Admin login not working.

OK, I can enter my user name and password for logging into my admin account, however, when i click logging, it pretty much just refreshes the page.
I just installed version 1.3.7 onto my server, with dreamhost's one click install menu. I set it all up, and the store part seems ok, but I can't get past the login area for the admin at https://swatoffroad.com/cart/admin . I have my ssl both enabled, and my https:// for the server is enabled, so there shouldn't be a problem there.

I also read through a few other threads on here with similar problems, and none seem to have worked.

try turning ssl OFF in your configure file,

log into phpmyadmin
look in the congfigutration table and find the instance of setting recreate sessions, and set it to false,

while your there make sure that your admin username and email address are correct,

then use the forgot password and send yourself a new password,

and try it again

also completly close your browser and reopen it to clear your cache

I don't see anything about setting recreate sessions anywhere. have a screenshot, or anything useful to help a phpmyadmin noob out?

I just upgraded my test site from 1.3.7 to 1.3.7.1 yesterday. I could not log in to Admin since the upgrade. Thanks for your suggestion. I set the instance of recreate session to false. I was able to log in to my admin.

I then read other forums and decided to use different browser to test my luck.

With the instance sets to true I was able to log in with IE 6 but Firefox. With the instance sets to false I was able to log in with IE 6 and Firefox.

I would like to set this instance to true and have both IE6 and Firefox work. Do you have any solution?
